Cimple is currently developing a product that will provide administrators with a better way to build a master schedule. Cimple has named this product "Magic". It will be implemented in three phases.
- Phase I: Available Now! The current version of the product provides administrators with point-and-click access to the information they need to build the best possible master schedule. The following features are available:
- View statistics for any course, including enrollment totals (by school or by grade), list of students enrolled, potential conflicts, and students affected by those conflicts (i.e. students enrolled in both courses)
- View statistics for any period, including projected enrollment for each period (by school or by grade), number of sections placed, number of conflicts in that period (based upon section placement), and number of students affected by those conflicts
- View statistics for any section placed, including projected enrollment for each section (by school or by grade) and conflicts with other courses placed (i.e. conflicting period/semester/day combinations)
- Create filters to control which courses are displayed
- Create filters to control which conflicts are displayed
- Place sections into multiple periods and/or different semester/day combinations
- Obtain recommended placement for each course based upon sections of all other courses already placed
- Used with the Cimple 2000 Scheduling System!
