Click on any demo below to view its contents. Note that you will be asked to download a file. Save this file to your Desktop, and then click the object on your desktop to start the demonstration.

  • Entering Grades: See how easy it is to use the spreadsheet-style interface to enter grades into your gradebook. Notice how averages are automatically calculated as you enter new grades. Also, notice how the gradebook keeps track of students who are missing grades.

  • Working With Columns: This demonstration provides an overview of how the columns in your gradebook work. See how easy it is to scroll between columns and switch between marking periods (like turning a new page in a traditional paper-based gradebook), activate/deactivate columns to see how a grade affects the overall average, give columns descriptions, and alter the maximum points for each column (i.e. homework assignments based on 10 points rather than 100 points).

  • Creating Categories: See how easy it is to setup categories to alter the way averages are calculated. This demonstration shows you how to create three categories (HW - Homework, QZ - Quiz, and T - Test) and how to assign certain percentages to each category. Notice how the average is recalculated based on the new formula.

  • Letter Grades and Other Abbreviations: Do you use letter grades or other abbreviations rather than straight numeric values? See how easy it is to setup and use letter grades and other abbreviations to calculate averages for students and/or use in your gradebook.

  • Printing Reports: See how easy it is to generate web-ready reports for your entire class and for each student.

  • Checkout: See how easy it is to checkout your gradebook to a disk so you can work with your gradebook on another computer.

  • Check-in: See how easy it is to check-in your gradebook from a disk so you can work with your gradebook from another computer.
